“I have had the privilege of knowing Steve Adelson and benefiting from his expertise regarding the Battle of the Little Bighorn for over thirty years. His knowledge of this period in American history is unparalleled. I have collaborated with Steve individually and have taken my U.S. History students to the battlefield for many years, allowing them to gain insights into this Native American struggle from a historian who is not only dedicated to his research but also profoundly passionate about this era. My students consistently express how valuable the experience was for them to witness the site firsthand and to learn from such a knowledgeable historian. For anyone seeking in-depth information about the events leading up to the battle, the battle itself, and its aftermath, I highly recommend Steve's tours as an essential resource.”

“Steve Adelson is a former historical interpreter for the National Park Service where he has passionately shared the story of the Battle of the Little Bighorn more commonly known as "Custer's Last Stand" for over a decade. He is one of the most knowledgeable and passionate speakers on the subject in the world. His tours are unforgettable experiences that will put you
"in the middle of the fray" and his explanations are the result of decades of research and living on the site. His unmatched special ability to explain this complex and debated American saga and to take the visitor to normally inaccessible parts of the battlefield make this an unforgettable experience. A personal tour with Steve is will leave you better educated and longing for more.”

- Author and former NPS ranger Michael Donahue

“I had the opportunity to visit the Custer Battlefield with Steve Adelson and see the surrounding area that has great historical value, and to better understand the battle and the events leading up to it. Steve took us to a viewpoint where we could see the Crow's nest and where Custer had separated his battalion, by sending Benteen on his oblique. We then continued down Reno Creek to the morass and the site of the lone teepee. From there we were able to get onto the exact site of  Reno's deployment on the southern end of the village. Following the course of events and finally onto the battlefield we were able to see the battle as it happened.I have studied the battle extensively and been involved in research outside of the normal Custer related stories and had a good basis for the enlightenment I received on this tour. Steve's knowledge and passion for this battle is intoxicating. I felt like I had all the ingredients for a great cake, and Steve put them all together and baked it.I can't express enough, just how fantastic this tour was. I do know that I will take advantage of this opportunity in the future and endorse the value of this tour to any person wishing to learn more about the battle.”

- Kirk Stovall, Tour Participant

“I am a history buff and have visited the Little Bighorn Battlefield numerous times, often with my family. Not until I met Steve and had a chance to witness his magic did I realize the scope of this epic encounter.Steve brings the battle to life with forceful dialogue and dramatic descriptions. Most importantly, his vast knowledge and vibrato makes any visitor feel as though they were actually there! Steve is able to take every section of the valley and reconstruct those 2 intense days in a way that brings it to life. You hear it, feel it, see it in a way that no textbook or novel can create. If you get a chance to visit the site with Steve, it will be an unforgettable memory and you will leave with a new understanding of what really happened.”
